Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Milestone Immigration, Inc. (“Milestone”, “we”, “us”). They apply to Milestone’s website, client portal and related services (together, the “Services”).

Milestone is a technology company. Milestone is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Legal services are provided by licensed immigration attorneys at Morgan & Reyes LLP (the “Partner Firm”), an independent law firm.

By using the Services or submitting a request, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

If you use the Services on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for it.

Milestone provides technology and case-management services that support the preparation of immigration petitions and applications, including:

• intake forms, document collection and secure storage;
• organization of evidence and indexing of exhibits;
• AI-assisted drafting and mapping of evidence to legal criteria, prepared for attorney review;
• timelines, status updates and communication tools.

All legal advice, visa strategy, final review, signature and filing are provided by attorneys at the Partner Firm under a separate engagement with you.

Using the website, submitting a request or exchanging messages with us does not create an attorney–client relationship.

An attorney–client relationship begins only when you and the Partner Firm sign a written engagement agreement (the “Engagement”). The Engagement sets out the scope of legal work, the fee and the responsibilities of each party. If anything in these Terms conflicts with your Engagement on a legal matter, the Engagement controls.

Until an Engagement is in place, please do not send confidential information you would not want shared.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Immigration filings depend on accurate information. You agree to:

• provide information and documents that are true, complete and your own to share;
• tell us promptly about changes that may affect your case, such as a new job, travel or a change in status;
• review drafts and respond to requests within the timelines in your Engagement;
• obtain any consent needed from people whose information or letters you provide.

Submitting false or misleading information to a U.S. government agency can have serious consequences, including denial, a bar on future benefits and criminal penalties. You are responsible for the truth of every statement and document you sign or provide.

Petitions are offered for a fixed fee for a defined scope, confirmed in writing before work begins. Current fees are shown on our Pricing page and may change; the fee in your Engagement is the fee you pay.

• Government filing fees, premium processing fees and any third-party costs (such as translations or courier services) are separate and are shown to you before they are incurred.
• Responses to a Request for Evidence (RFE) on a petition we prepared are included in the fixed fee.
• The fee for a Visa Strategy review is credited toward your petition fee if you engage us for that petition.
• Payment terms, including any instalments, are set out in your Engagement.

Fees are for the preparation and filing of your petition and do not depend on the government’s decision.

You may stop work at any time by telling us in writing. If you do, fees for work not yet performed are refunded in line with your Engagement. Fees for work already completed, and government fees already paid, are not refundable.

We or the Partner Firm may decline or end an engagement where continuing would be inappropriate — for example, if information provided is inaccurate, or a conflict of interest arises. In that case, unused fees are refunded as set out in your Engagement.

Decisions on visas, petitions and green cards are made solely by U.S. government agencies, including U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and the Department of State. No one — including Milestone and the Partner Firm — can guarantee approval, a processing time or any particular result. Timelines we give are estimates of preparation time, not government processing time.

We use AI tools to organize evidence, research and prepare drafts. AI output is an input to attorney work. It is never delivered to you as legal advice, and nothing is filed without review and signature by a licensed attorney. See our Privacy Policy for how your data is handled when AI tools are used.

The Services, including our software, design, text and trademarks, belong to Milestone or its licensors. You may use them only to receive the Services.

You keep ownership of the documents and information you provide. You give us permission to use them as needed to deliver the Services to you. The final petition and its exhibits are prepared for you, and you receive a copy.

You agree not to:

• use the Services for any unlawful purpose or to submit fraudulent information;
• upload information about another person without the right to do so;
• attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours, or interfere with the security of the Services;
• copy, scrape or reverse-engineer the Services, except as the law allows.

The Services may link to or rely on third-party services, such as payment processors and government websites. We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them is subject to their own terms.

Except as expressly stated in these Terms or your Engagement, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. General information on the website is not legal advice and may not reflect the latest changes in the law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Milestone is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or opportunities, arising from your use of the Services.

Milestone’s total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the fees you paid to Milestone for the Services giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or any attorney’s professional obligations to you under your Engagement.

You agree to indemnify Milestone against claims and costs arising from information you provide that is false or that you did not have the right to share, or from your breach of these Terms.

We may suspend or close your account if you breach these Terms or use the Services in a way that creates risk for others. You may close your account at any time. Sections that by their nature should continue — including fees owed, disclaimers and limitation of liability — survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and you and Milestone consent to their jurisdiction. Before starting any proceeding, please contact us — most issues can be resolved quickly.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version here with a new date, and tell you about material changes before they take effect. Your continued use of the Services after that means you accept the updated Terms.
